Madikeri, Jun 21: A racket to gain entry into Kuwait using fictitious certificates was busted by the Kerala police, recently. With the arrest of one Asghar Pasha of Gonikoppal, Kodagu, it has been found out that a Tibetan woman was converted to Islam, in order to obtain a visa. 

Pasha was arrested at the Ernakulam airport while he was attempting to send the Tibetan woman, Dolma, to Kuwait. 
Dolma converted to Islam at Gonikoppal at the behest of Pasha and changed her name to Sapura Banu. Pasha, obtained the original transfer certificate of Sapura Banu, his relative and imposed Dolma’s photo on the school certificate. Pasha used Banu’s certificate to obtain visa for Dolma.

He also created a fake marriage certificate between him and Dolma. The Virajpet sub-registrar has recorded the official marriage between these two and has given a certificate. The two notaries in the district have also confirmed the marriage through official affidavits. Visa was given to Dolma. She also managed to obtain a clearance certificate from Bangalore police, a medical certificate from Dr Mehaboob of Mangalore National G D Scanner and Diagnostic Centre and a duplicate FD certificate in the name of Sapura Banu at Syndicate Bank, Bylakuppe. 

Dolma is married to a Tibetan with two children. Another woman, Karishma, from Bangalore and another
unidentified woman involved in the racket are absconding, the police said.
