Kasargod: Lorry involved in hit-and-run case seized

Kasargod, Apr 25: Kanhangad police have seized the lorry that was involved in an accident and death of a plus one student at Chemmattavayal in Kanhangad.

Hosadurga police circle inspector T P Sumesh led team seized the vehicle that was involved in the ghastly road accident causing the death of Mavungal resident Alok K Nayar (18) from Hassan in Karnataka.

Alok K Nayar, son of Balakrishnan Nayar, officer at Periya Seva Cooperative Bank and Sushila, teacher at Muvungal Ram Nagar School died in a hit and run case where the lorry hit the scooter he was riding on March 26.

Alok died in the hospital without responding to treatment. The Hosadurga police had registered a case and were investigating.
