Puttur, Jun 22: Three people were killed and nine injured in an accident at Bedrodi, 6 kms away from Uppinangady on NH 48 on Wednesday, Jun 21.
The accident took place when a truck and jeep collided head on at Bedrodi.
The deceased are jeep driver Abu Sali (30), Seena (40) and Savitha (25) all locals.
The truck from Bangalore heading towards Mangalore hit the jeep, which was on its way to Kokkada from Uppinangady.
The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Puttur and Mangalore.
