It, of course, is a matter of great delight that Jamia Millia Islamia has got a noted Geologist Prof. Talat Ahmed as its new Vice Chancellor after Mr. Najeeb Jang. Jamia has its unique fame because of its identified traditions on the confluence of Ganga-Yamuni Tahzeeb of India. I hope that the new Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ahmed will prove himself a worthy asset identifying the status of Jamia along with speeding up the rays of its luminosity to the the last corners of the darkness where there remains no civilized educations under the clad of real culture.
