JLo's new track, her twins' choice

Los Angeles, April 30 (IANS): Singer-turned-actress Jennifer Lopez's twins prompted her to record "Big B**ty" for her new album.

The twins -- then five years old -- went crazy for the tune when the singer played it for them in her car and insisted that Lopez record it, reports contactmusic.com.

The singer wasn't sure about the song when she first heard it, though her manager and handlers said it was the perfect tune for her to record, so she took a rough mix home with her to give it another listen and was stunned by her twins' reaction.

"Everybody in the studio was like, 'This is the type of song that JLo needs to do', and I was like, 'Never in my life will I do a song called 'Big B**ty.'," said Lopez.

"I always take stuff to my car afterwards and kind of live with it and listen to it, so I'm in the car with my twins, Max and Emme, and I'm listening to a bunch of songs and the minute they hear, 'Big, big b**ty 'cause you got a big b**ty' they went crazy. I don't know if they thought they were saying a dirty word but they loved this song, and because they loved it I recorded it," she added.

The 44-year-old continued: "My son has a very good ear, he could be the next music mogul Clive Davis. We'll be in the car and listening to the radio and flipping through channels and all of a sudden he'll be like, 'Go back...!' He can pick on a first listen, only the big, big smashes."
