Court summons Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi


New Delhi, May 1 (IANS): A court here issued a summons to BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi in a defamation case filed by former Janata Dal-United leader Shabir Ali for linking his name with Indian Mujahideen co-founder Yasin Bhatkal.

Metropolitan Magistrate Akash Jain issued summons to Naqvi and asked him to appear before him July 9.

The order was delivered April 25 but it was made available Thursday.
