Mangalore, Jun 24: State minister H D Revanna while speaking to the reporters in Hassan on Friday June 24 said that the state government will convert the road between Hassan and city into a four-lane road soon.

He said that chief minister H D Kumarawamy would make an official request to PM Manmohan Singh in this regard on Saturday June 24 during latter's visit to Bangalore.  He further said that the proposed four-lane road between the city and Hassan would be a main linking road between 5 states.

This four-lane highway would also be a main link between the city and Chennai.
