Mumbai, May 3 (NDTV): Bollywood Actor and model Poonam Pandey was arrested late on Friday night at Mira Road in suburban Mumbai for allegedly behaving indecently in public.
According to an officer involved with the case, the police received a complaint about two people allegedly indulging in an indecent act near a park.
When a police team reached the area, they reportedly found Ms Pandey outside a car near the park.
A small crowd had gathered around her.
She was brought to the police station and booked under Section 110 (behaving indecently in public) and Section 117 of the Maharashtra Police Act.
She was also issued a stern warning by police and subsequently released.
Ms Pandey had hit headlines during the 2011 Cricket World Cup, when she had declared that she would strip if the Indian team won the trophy.
She was last seen in the Bollywood film Nasha which had faced protests over the explicit skin show in its posters. (Courtesy NDTV)
