Mangalore, Jun 25: Mangalorean kids have proved that they are in no way less than any other children in the world. But the products have Aloha Abacus Learning Centre here have proved their superiority over the rest of the kids of the world.

 

Pritvi Shetty, a student of ALOHA Abacus Learning  Centre,   run  by Kadri Sri Mata Education Trust stole the show at the International-level Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition held in China, recently. Pritvi won the championship while Panchami Shetty, another student of the institute emerged as the runner-up.

Rahul M, a student of Hampankatta ALOHA Learning Centre has secured the second place.

Pritvi and Panchami are students of St Agnes School in City and the daughters of Dr Sridhar Shetty, a physician in A J Hospital and biologist Usha Shetty.

Rahul, a student of Sharada Residential School Udupi is the son of Mohan Pillai, an Employee of Indian Oil Corporation, Mangalore division office and Uma Mohan Pillai.

A total of 19 Aloha centers have been started in city during the past one year.
