'Tumhari Pakhi' team shoots in Delhi

New Delhi, May 6 (IANS): Qutab Minar and Red Fort are among the popular historical locations of the capital which are being used as the backdrop to shoot some scenes of popular Hindi TV show "Tumhari Pakhi" here.

The show, aired on Life OK, is gearing up for a twist. Veteran actress Anita Raj has now joined the cast and will be seen playing Anuja, mother of Anshuman, a character essayed by actor Iqbal Khan.

The cast and crew of the show is currently filming Anita's entry sequences across Delhi.

Apart from Qutab Minar and Red Fort, the actors - Iqbal, Anita and Shraddha Arya, will also be shooting in Chandni Chowk.

For Shraddha, who plays the role of Pakhi, shooting in the capital is a "good change".

“For people living in Mumbai, Delhi is literally a breath of fresh air. You feel like you've just moved into an upscale spacious villa from a one bed room hall kitchen apartment...I'm really happy to be shooting in Delhi," she said.

The shooting in Delhi started Monday, and will end Thursday.
