Udupi, Jun 26: A young man was electrocuted while repairing TV antenna at Hoigetota of Padebettu near Padubidri here on Sunday June 25 evening.

Naveen Poojary (32), a resident of Hoigetota was electrocuted around 4.30 in the evening on Sunday.  The television set in his house was receiving proper signals owing to some problems with the aerial.  So he put on the TV and went into the courtyard to change the direction of the aerial.  However, he was electrocuted in the process and died on the spot.

Naveen was an employee of Padma Medicals at Padubidri.  On Sunday too he had gone to work and had come in the afternoon.

He is survived by wife and a one-and-half-month-old child.
