Eight people killed in Pakistan road accident


Islamabad, May 8 (IANS): At least eight people were killed and 15 injured Thursday when a passenger van fell into a ravine in Pakistan, a media report said.

Witnesses said the driver of the vehicle lost control while negotiating a turn as a result of which the van skidded off the road and plunged into a ravine in Muzaffarabad area, Dawn online reported.

Two people died on the spot and six others succumbed in hospital.

Hospital sources said the condition of three of the injured was critical.
