Rain expected in Delhi


New Delhi, May 10 (IANS): It was a pleasant Saturday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 23 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average. The Met Office has forecast light rain in some areas.

"The sky will remain cloudy after the afternoon and thunderstorms might occur in some areas. The maximum temperatures is likely to hover around 38 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 83 percent.

Friday's maximum temperature was recorded a notch below the season's average at 38.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 24.1 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
