Seven killed in Mexico clashes


Mexico City, May 10 (IANS): At least seven people were killed Friday in two separate shooting incidents in Mexico's Tamaulipas state, said the state attorney general's office.

Armed assailants opened fire on a group of soldiers who were on routine patrol in Reynosa city. The 30-minute gunfight left two gunmen and a soldier killed. Three soldiers were wounded in the incident, reported Xinhua.

In a separate incident, four people were killed in a shooting outside a shopping centre in Arguelles town in the state.
