Two landmines recovered in Jharkhand


Ranchi, May 10 (IANS): Two landmines were recovered during a search operation in Jharkhand's Latehar district Saturday, police said.

The two landmines, each weighing 50 kg, were found on the Herhanj- Paki highway in the district, which is around 130 km from Ranchi.

Officials said the landmines were planted by the Maoists to target the police.
