Accra, May 10 (IANS): Ghana's head football coach James Kwasi Appiah will name his provisional 30-man squad for the 2014 Brazil World Cup Monday.
Appiah will also reveal his plans for the World Cup during a media briefing at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) headquarters in Accra, reports Xinhua.
"The GFA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi will also unveil a comprehensive plan for the team before and during the World Cup including the confirmed friendly matches, camping venues, travel plans and other activities connected to the team," the GFA said in a release.
The provisional 30-man squad will be pruned to 25 at the team's residential camp in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Ghana will be embarking on their third successive World Cup campaign, having successfully impressed in qualification.
Ghana have been drawn in Group G alongside the US, Germany and Portugal, and will play their opening Group game at the Arena das Dunas in Natal against the US.
