Five killed in Pakistan blast


Islamabad, May 11 (IANS): At least five people were killed and 14 others wounded in an explosion in Pakistan Sunday.

The blast took place outside a mosque in Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Dawn reported.

The intensive blast caused one of walls of the mosque to fall down.

Police confirmed that the blast was carried out by a suicide bomber.

Hospital sources confirmed that five persons were killed.

According to an earlier report, at least three people were killed and eight others wounded.
