Voting starts in UP


Lucknow, May 12 (IANS): Voting began in Uttar Pradesh Monday for the remaining 18 Lok Sabha seats, including Varanasi, officials said.

A total of 328 candidates are in the fray in the concluding round of the parliamentary polls.

Balloting is taking place at 31,483 polling stations where over 146,000 staff have been deployed. Over three crore people are eligible to vote.
