Dust storms, rain likely in Delhi


New Delhi, May 12 (IANS): It was a pleasant Monday morning in Delhi and the Met Office has forecast dust storms accompanied by rain in the day.

"The sky will turn partly cloudy and there could be dust storms with rain and thundershower in some parts of the city," said an India Meteorological Department official.

The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.

Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded four notches below the seasons's average at 35.2 degrees, while the minimum temperature settled at 23.5 degrees Celsius - two notches below the season's average.
