Baghdad, May 12 (IANS): Unidentified gunmen have kidnapped five lawyers from their office in downtown Baghdad, an official of the country's interior ministry said Monday.
The kidnapping occurred late Sunday night when gunmen in several sport utility vehicles (SUVs) stormed an office in Baghdad's Karrada district and seized the lawyers, the official told Xinhua.
Iraqi security forces have launched a hunt to locate the captives, the source said.
