Troublesome Indian passenger arrested in Sri Lanka


Colombo, May 17 (IANS): An Indian national was arrested in Sri Lanka for alleged indecent behaviour while allegedly drunk, a media report said.

The unnamed man, 54, was arrested by the Bandaranaike International Airport Police in Colombo as he disturbed the fellow passengers and delayed the Mumbai-bound flight, local paper Daily Mirror reported Friday.

The airline crew failed to control the man, following which they made him de-board and handed him over to the airport police.

Police said the passenger was being questioned, the report said.
