Mumbai, Jul 2: At least 21 mm of rain has been recorded in the island city of Mumbai, while the suburbs registered 66 mm.

Intermittent heavy showers have also been predicted over next 24 hours.

So far, the road traffic and trains have been running smoothly and no delays in flights have been reported either.

Some minor water logging was seen in low-lying suburbs. With around 1.5 feet water in Andheri and Khar subways the traffic had to be diverted.

The traffic movement has been slow in Andheri (West), King's Circle and Hind Mata.

And though there was some water logging at Dockyard Road, there was no traffic disruption.

Local trains, however, were reported to have slowed down near Sion station on the Central Line by 15-20 minutes.
