Mangalore, Jul 2: The first preparatory meeting for chalking out organizational plans for Nudisiri-2006 was held here with Alva's Education Foundation chairman Dr Mohan Alva in the chair.

A press release from the Foundation has mentioned November 17, 18 and 19, 2006 as tentative dates. The names of guests, president, inaugurator and other dignitaries was yet to be announced.

Besides, Dr Alva, well-known Kannada writer M Ramachandra, Mangalore University's head of Kannada department DR K Chinnappa Gowda, writer Jayaprakash Mavinakuli, Yakshagana artiste Bhaskar Rai Kukkuvalli and others took part in the two-hour-long discussions relating to holding of Nudisiri in Moodbidri.
