Mangalore, May 19 : A dream project of city's dynamic entrepreneur Siraj Ahmed, who has been heading In-Land Group for the last 28 years, is set to officially open on May 26.
The 26-floor skyscraper, the city's first, considered to be the tallest building of the region, with 226 residential flats, will be inaugurated by Karnataka minister for infrastructure, information and Haj, Roshan Baig in a colorful ceremony to be held on Monday May 26 at 5.30 pm.
'Inland Windsors' is situated at a prime location on Airport Road, Maryhill, Mangalore.
A galaxy of political leaders from Mangalore region along with other dignitaries will also be present at the event.
District incharge minister Ramanath Rai will be the chief guest, P Jayaram Bhat, Karnataka Bank MD and CEO will preside over the function.
Health minister U T Khadar, youth services and fisheries minister Abhaychandra Jain, mayor Mahabala Maarla, newly-elected MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, members of legislative Assembly J R Lobo, Mohiuddin Bava, former minister Krishna Palemar, Yenepoya University chancellor Y Abdulla Kunhi, SCDCC Bank president Rajendra Kumar, and CREDAI president Pushparaj Jain will be guests of honour.
"It is my dream project, it took some time to see this glorious day. I feel extremely proud when people call this project as a monument of Mangalore. We have put lots of hard work and efforts into it, but looking at the finished project, it gives me enormous pleasure. Our entire In-Land team has put its efforts in realizing this dream," says founder and MD Siraj Ahmed, expressing his happiness on completing the mega project.
"We have set an example through this residential project. We tried to give the best of luxury, more than what we had promised in our offers," he says.
Before the inauguration of Inland Windsors, the premises will be blessed by Hindu, Christian and Muslim religious heads.
