Dust storm likely in Delhi


New Delhi, May 23 (IANS): It was a hot and humid Friday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded a notch below the season's average at 25.8 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast dust storms ahead in the day.

"The sky will turn partly cloudy with one or two spells of rain in the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 41 degrees Celsius.

Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded a notch above the average at 40.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled two notches below the average at 24.2 degrees Celsius.
