Tea seller, 15, wants to attend Modi's swearing-in

New Delhi, May 24 (IANS): A 15-year-old boy, who works in a roadside tea stall here, wants to attend Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony, an NGO said Saturday.

"I want to become a leader and Modi ji has made me realise that it is not impossible," said Ritesh, who had migrated from Bihar with his family.

Ritesh, who is a member of the federation of street children run by Childhood Enhancement through Training and Action (CHETNA), has already sent letters to the prime minister's office, BJP office and Gujarat Bhawan in this regard.

"Children have high hopes from the new government, especially children living in difficult circumstances. I am very hopeful that honourable PM will allow him to attend the historic event which will inspire thousands of children across the country," CHETNA director Sanjay Gupta said.
