Kabul, May 24 (IANS): Five Taliban militants were killed and another injured when their explosive device went off prematurely in Afghanistan's eastern Kunar province Saturday.
"Six Taliban insurgents were busy in planting a mine on a road in Dangam district this morning when the device exploded accidentally killing five rebels on the spot and badly injured another," Xinhua quoted a statement of the country's interior ministry released here as saying.
