Woman constable killed in road accident


New Delhi, May 24 (IANS): A woman constable was killed and another injured here after they lost control of the motorcycle they were riding and met with an accident, police said Saturday.

The constable identified as Anamika, 22, was deputed to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) here. 

The incident took place around 9 p.m. Friday in CRPF's Jharoda Kalan campus in west Delhi.

Anamika died on the spot, while the pillion rider constable Jyoti survived with injuries.
