Rajapaksa, Jaffna Mayor to attend Modi oath taking


New Delhi, May 25 (IANS): Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa will be accompanied by Jaffna's Tamil Mayor Yogeshwari Pathkunarajah at the oath taking ceremony of Narendra Modi as India's prime minister Monday.

A Sri Lankan High Commission statement said others who will come with Rajapaksa include External Affairs Minister G.L. Peiris, Livestock and Rural Community Development Minister Arumugam Thondaman, and Secretary to the president Lalith Weeratunga.
