Modi chucks trademark half-sleeve kurta for swearing-in ceremony

New Delhi, May 26 (IANS): BJP leader Narendra Modi chose to dress up in a full-sleeve kurta instead of his trademark half-sleeve attire for his swearing-in ceremony as the country's 14th Prime Minister at Rashtrapati Bhavan here Monday.

His outfit for the special ceremony has been designed by his personal tailor Bipin Chauhan, according to reports.

For the ceremony, Modi teamed up his cream-coloured full-sleeve kurta with a pair of pyjama and bandhgala half jacket in the light shade of brown.

He added a little glitter with a golden coloured pen in his jacket pocket.

His crisp and clean dressing style has often been appreciated by fashion designers like Samanth Chauhan and Poonam Bajaj.
