DAMMAM, July 7:  A newly wed Saudi bride never thought that having spent her honeymoon with the man of her dreams she would return to the Kingdom and go straight to jail, the Al-Watan daily reported.

In fact the girl was left devastated when she came to learn that her husband was nothing more than a notorious drug dealer.

On arriving in Saudi Arabia, after having spent her honeymoon in various countries in the Middle East, the couple was stopped by custom officials who found drugs in the bride’s luggage.

Both the husband and wife denied knowing anything about the drugs. The husband later confessed to the crime after police found out he had a drug-related criminal record.

The girl went back to her parents’ home sad and upset at her turbulent and sad short married life.
