Kundapur, Jul 8: At a time when sincerity and honesty have become rare, there are some people who still believe and practice these virtues.  This was proved in an incident here in which, a housemaid returned a purse containing almost Rs 4,000 to its owner here on Friday July 7. 

Vimala, a housemaid in Byndoor police inspector C D Nagraj's house had come to weekly market her on Friday.  There she found a purse with more than Rs 3,750 in it.  When she searched in the purse, she came to know that the purse belonged to one Poornima of Yojana Nagar in Byndoor.

Vimala went and gave the purse to her house owner C D Nagraj who is also the inspector of Byndoor police station.  He found Poornima's cell phone number in the purse.  Accordingly he called Poornima on her cell, summoned her to station and returned the purse.
