Clear day in Delhi


New Delhi, May 29 (IANS): It was a humid Thursday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded a notch below average at 26.3 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast a clear day.

"The skies will remain clear with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 42 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum temperature Wednesday was recorded at 40 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season, while the minimum temperature settled two notches below the season's average at 25.6 degrees Celsius.
