Kuwait, July 9: UAKK Delegation meets Jazeera Airways officials for the second time in Kuwait in regard to Direct Intl Flights to Mangalore.
 
Kuwait, July 8: A delegation from United Associations of Karnataka (UAKK) in Kuwait today met with.  Bader Al-Mershad, Vice President - Industry Affairs and Michael Hayden, Revenue Manager of Jzeera Airways, Kuwait in pursuit of their last meeting which was held on 27th June 2006 with Captain Mukhled K. Al-Sawagh, Vice President, Operations, and Reinhard Kossack – Chief Operating Officer of the same airways in regard to Direct flights to Mangalore from Kuwait and other gulf sectors.
 
During the last meeting Jazeera Airways officials had asked UAKK delegation to submit the airport details of Mangalore airport for feasibility study purpose of the Mangalore sector. Accordingly, today UAKK delegation headed by Pascal Pinto, Coordinator - Govt. Affairs, along with Fayez Sheikh and Mr. Hasan Yusuf (members of the delegation) submitted the airport details of Mangalore airport to the above mentioned Jazeera airways officials. 

Vice President and the Revenue Manager of Jazeera Airways specifically mentioned that they need the cooperation from Aviation Ministry and Aviation Authority of India (AAI) in regard to the landing permission, approval of seats and landing fees etc.  Head of the UAKK delegation told them that they will put up their efforts with the concerned Indian authorities in this matter.  Jazeera Airways officials pointed out that they will study the airport details, financial feasibility of the sector and accordingly will inform the developments to the UAKK delegation.
 
John Tauro of Kuwait Aviation, a member of United Associations of Karnataka, Kuwait had arranged the subject meeting with these Jazeera Airways higher officials with the help of Boby Varghese Jacob of the same Airways.
 
UAKK delegation thanked Jazeera airways officials for their visible signs of interest shown by them  for this sector.
