Three planes damaged, 21 flights diverted due to bad weather in Delhi


New Delhi, May 30 (IANS): Three planes were damaged and 21 flights diverted due to the sudden rain and storm that lashed the national capital here Friday evening, officials said.

Airport sources told IANS that three planes, which were parked at the T-3 (terminal 3) of the Indira Gandhi International Airport, were damaged.

Meanwhile 21 flights which were coming to Delhi were diverted, officials told IANS. 

Among the flights that were diverted included four international flights.
