Modi meets several governors, ministers


New Delhi, May 30 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a stream of visitors Friday that included governors of four states and several cabinet ministers.

"Today Honourable Governors of several states and Ministers called on Prime Minister @narendramodi at South Block," tweeted the prime minister's office.

Among those who called on Modi were Telugu Desam Party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, Jammu and Kashmir Governor N.N. Vohra, Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati, Andhra Pradesh Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, his Haryana and Manipur counterparts, Jagannath Pahadia and V.K. Duggal, respectively, cabinet ministers Nitin Gadkari and Gopinath Munde and minister of state Piyush Goyal.

The meetings were courtesy visits and took place in the South Block office of the prime minister, PMO said.
