Washington, May 31 (IANS): Miami Heat beat Indiana Pacers 117-92 in Game Six of the NBA Eastern Finals, outclassing them 4-2 to win their fourth straight Eastern title.
The Heat Friday became the third team in NBA history to win the title in four straight seasons. The previous two were the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers, reports Xinhua.
LeBron James and Chris Bosh had 25 points each for the Heat while Dwyane Wade and Rashard Lewis had 13 points apiece.
"I'm blessed. Very blessed. Very humbled," James said after the game. "And we won't take this opportunity for granted. "
For the Pacers, Paul George had a game-high 29 points. David West and Lance Stephenson got 16 and 11 points respectively.
The Heat would face either the San Antonio Spurs or the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Finals, which is scheduled to take place June 5.
The Spurs headed into the NBA Western Finals Game Six with a 3-2 series lead over the Thunder.
