Cross-border clash kills 15 in Pakistan


Islamabad, May 31 (IANS): At least 15 people were killed and two injured Saturday when militants attacked a security checkpost near the Pakistan-Afghan border in North Waziristan.

A large number of militants from across the border attacked the Pakistani post situated on Nao Top early in the morning, Dawn online reported.

The victims included 14 militants and one soldier, an official said.

Army helicopters also took part in the retaliatory attack.
