Justice (retd) N.K. Sud of the Punjab and Haryana High Court will chair the meeting which will also have Sanjeev Paul, managing director TATA Metalicks, and Neel Ratan, executive director, PricewaterhouseCoopers as committee members.

The club licensing committee, which met at the governing body’s headquarters May 21 decided to disband the four clubs based on the documents provided by all the 14 clubs and the inspection conducted by the AIFF team during April-May.

The requirements include legal, administration, sporting, infrastructure and financial criteria which all clubs are required to meet.

The licence is required by each club to compete under the AIFF’s Indian club licensing system, and is reviewed annually based on a team’s overall performance.
