Four policemen killed in Afghanistan bombing


Kanul, June 4 (Xinhua): At least four Afghan policemen were killed and one was wounded in a bomb attack in afghanistan, source said Wednesday.

"Four Afghan Civil Order policemen were killed and one policeman was wounded following an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in Sangin district of Helmand province Tuesday," Omar Zwak, a provincial government spokesman, told Xinhua.

Helmand is notorious for poppy growing. The area is a known Taliban hotbed.
