Leaders pay tribute to Munde

Mumbai, June 4: Mumbai MP Gopal C Shetty has given his condolences for the death of Maharashtra ex-deputy chief minister, BJP leader and  Union Minister for Rural Development Gopinath Munde here on Wednesday June 4.

"Though I did not become a great leader like him, for the past 30 years I have been working with the BJP party in his presence. His leadership qualities were an inspiration to me. Munde's parting is not only loss to the Maharashtra state or to the BJP, it is a irrecoverable loss for the entire nation. It is a painful moment for everyone on the death of a common leader who made had a friendly relationship with everyone. Let the God give him eternal peace and I pray that Munde's wife and kids, relatives, BJP and Shivsena leaders, and members the strength to bear the loss of a great leader," said Gopal C Shetty.


Another BJP leader from Mumbai, former president L V Amin has also paid tribute to the BJP leader Gopinath Munde.

He said, "When Gopinath Munde was the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, I was the BJP president at the Santacruz legislative assembly and I have worked for the party's prosperity which I learnt from Gopinath Munde. Munde always treated the party workers equally. The nation has lost a true leader and I pray for his eternal peace."

When the body arrived at Mumbai's BJP office, Gopal C Shetty, L V Amin, BJP Meera-Bhayandar unit's preisedent Munnalayiguttu Sachidananda Shetty, Vishwanath U Mada, Tulu-Kannadiga BJP leaders and BJP members paid their final condolences to Gopinath Munde.
