Warsaw, June 4 (IANS): US President Barack Obama met Ukrainian President-elect Petro Poroshenko in the Polish capital city Wednesday.

It was Obama's first meeting with Poroshenko, who was elected president of Ukraine May 25 and will be officially sworn-in June 7, Xinhua reported.
