Landmine blast kills four security personnel in Afghanistan


Kabul, June 5 (IANS): At least four security personnel were killed Thursday when an explosive device went off in Afghanistan's Ghazni province, an official said.

"Two mines were planted by militants on a road in Waghaz district of Ghazni province this morning. The police defused one and while defusing the other, it exploded, killing a district police chief along with three of his bodyguards," the official told Xinhua.
