Sportsman dies of thirst in moving train!


Lucknow, Jun 9 (Bhaskar News) : In an unfortunate incident a sportsman lost his life while travelling in a train in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday.
 
And the reason of death will leave you in utter shock.
 
According to a railway official Mohd Azharuddin, who is a powerlifter, died of thirst as there was no water available in his coach.
 
The tragedy happened between Allahabad and Mirzapur railway stations while the athlete was travelling in the Jammu-Tatanagar Muri Express.
 
Azharuddin was returning after participating in a sports competition in Ambala city, where he won a silver medal. His body was taken over by the railway police and sent for post-mortem, the official said.
 
Co-passengers of the sportsman reprimanded the train ticket examiner following the incident.
 
Passengers alleged that there was no water in the coach since Sunday morning and despite their requests at several stations on way, the storage tank remain unfilled.
