Five NATO soldiers killed in Afghanistan


Kabul, June 10 (IANS): At least five NATO soldiers were killed in an incident in southern Afghanistan, media reported Tuesday.

"Five International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) service members died in southern Afghanistan yesterday," Xinhua quoted the NATO-led ISAF as saying in a statement.

Under the ISAF policy, the brief statement gave neither the nationalities of the victims nor details about how the soldiers lost their lives.
