Mangalore, Jul 16: The Ullal Police on Friday Jul 15 arrested three notorious thieves and confiscated good worth Rs 50,000 from them.
Muvaza (24) of Hilary Nagar near Mukkacheri, Ullal, Hakim alias Abdul Hakim (20) of Sundaribhag and Majid alias Mohammed Majid (21) were the arrested.
One motorbike, one scooter, gold necklace, VCR, TV, VCD player and several other stolen valuables have been obtained from the trio. The three confessed that the goods were stolen from houses in Chembugudde, Mukkcheri and Kumpala.
Mangalore rural police circle inspector Jayant led the search operation and nabbed the thieves with assistance from Ullal SI A D Nagaraj.
