Rain halts India-Bangladesh tie

Mirpur (Bangladesh), June 17 (IANS): Rain has halted India's second One-Day International (ODI) against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium here Tuesday.

The visitors were batting at 14/1 in 5.2 overs when the drizzle became heavier, forcing the umpires to call on the covers. Opener Robin Uthappa and Cheteshwar Pujara were unbeaten on 6 and 3 respectively when play was stopped.

Ajinkya Rahane fell for a duck on the second ball of the innings when he was trapped leg before wicket by Mashrafe Mortaza.

India lead the three match series 1-0.
