Mangalore, Jul 19: Under the able guidance of Dr Shanthi Menezes,Head of Department Pediatric Dentalty at A J College of Dental Sciences, the Mangalore Ladies Circle 82, a charitable non-profit organization dedicated towards the betterment of society and women and children in particular, along with A J College of Dental Sciences jointly conducted a Free Dental Camp for the children of the Government Remand Home.
The children were brought to the hospital where a thorough dental investigation was conducted. A detailed medical history was recorded and future treatment, taking into consideration each child’s needs, was formulated.
The Dental Camp included extraction, filling, scaling, cleaning and Fluoride application to prevent further cavities.
