Mangalore, Jul 21: Karnataka Bank Ltd, a leading private sector bank, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with New Holland Tractors (India) Pvt. Ltd for financing tractors and other farm equipments manufactured by the company.

The finance will be extended under the bank’s “KBL-New Holland Sarathi Scheme".

The  farmers availing themselves of finance under the scheme will get a benefit of a sum equal to the first year’s insurance premium for the tractor and the tractor will carry a warranty of two years from the date of sale.

New Holland Tractors (India) Pvt Ltd is a leading tractor manufacturer with over 330 dealers across the Country offering world class customer care and support.

Bank's general manager G K Bhat and New Holland Tractors deputy general manager Ajay Aneja signed the MoU on July 19.

Bank's deputy general managers P Jairama Hande and B Vittal Rao, agriculture officer Ramesh Vaidya and Uday Shankar were also present.
