Patel, who started the race from fourth on the grid and third in the GT3 category, put up a fight against the highly experienced Nicky Pastorelli but could not find a way past the super GT car which was faster in a straight line.
The Novadriver team decided to then make an early pit stop. In the process, Campanico had to wait out the 15 second handicap in the pit lane which the duo received for winning the first race.
It lost them track position as expected, but it did not stop the Portuguese from driving a magnificent race to bring home the Audi R8 car in fourth place in their category and sixth overall.

"Now all we have to do is keep the momentum going for the remainder of the season. Once again, a huge thanks to Cesar and the team as well as my sponsors Audi India, JK Racing and Amante."
